Xi'an

Much of Chinese human history can be observed in Xi'an. Our visit to Xi'an includes Banpo, a 6,000 year-old neo-lithic village site. Of course we'll see the 2,200 Terracotta Warriors BUT we'll also visit the recently opened Han Dynasty Tomb to see the Terracotta Pigs! You'll get to bike completely around Xi'an's Ancient City by riding on the top of the city wall, built 600 years ago during the Ming Dynasty.

Sun Ping, our national guide who lives in Xi'an, will organize lessons in Chinese cooking, calligraphy and Tai Chi. She will also lead an optional excursion to a local night-club.
