1 June 1 Fly from USA to China (Note departure could be May 31 or May 30, depending on airfare) Sleep aboard plane
2 June 2 Arrive in China at the Beijing Capital International Airport, drive to Yanqing City near The Great Wall. Yanqing
3 June 3 Get an early start for hiking on The Great Wall of China. Sample authentic Chinese dumplings for lunch. Tour a Jade factory and showroom. Drive to Beijing. Visit Olympic Bird’s Nest and Water Cube. Sample Peking Duck at dinner. Beijing
4 June 4 Visit 798 Arts District, Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City (Palace Museum) Overnight train to Xi’an. Sleep aboard train
5 June 5 Tour Banpo Neolithic  archaeological site (dated 6,000 years before present), Lesson on how to make modern Terracotta Warriors. ,Terracotta Warriors Museum, Visit family that lives in a cave home built in the loess, Chinese Calligraphy Lesson at the TangBo Folk Art Museum. Xi’an
6 June 6 Bicycle ride around the Ming Dynasty age Xi’an City Wall, tour Han dynasty tomb and museum featuring miniature terracotta sculptures, Sleep aboard train
7 June 7 Arrive Xining, Elevation 7,464 ft., visit Ta’er Temple and Kumbum Monastery (boyhood monastery of Tenzin Gyatso, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama). Xining
8 June 8 Xining city tour including Muslim District. Board Qinghai-Tibet Railroad in the evening, Maximum elevation 16,627 ft.,Train number K9801

10 June 10 Tour Jokhang Temple, Lhasa Old Town, Potala Palace Lhasa
12 June 12 Drive to Shigatse via Yamdrok Lake and Gyantse. Shigatse
13 June 13 Walk the kora around Tashilhunpo after breakfast, Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery (former home of the Panchen Lama) to see the 86 ft. tall Buddha statue and other things in the afternoon. Shigatse
14 June 14 Drive to New Tingri (Shegar) via Gyatso La Pass New Tingri (Shegar)
15 June 15 On the pass views of high Himalayas above 8000 mts -Makalu,lhotse,Everest,cho oyu and shishapangma Rongbuk
16 June 16 Drive to Saga via old Tingri and Peiku Tso Lake  Saga
17 June 17 Drive to Darchin(Base Camp Of Kailash) or Lake Manasarovar Darchin
18 June 18 Kora Day 1 - Start Kora (Dira Phuk )

29 June 29 Free Day for site seeing and shopping in Shanghai.
Art students will visit Shanghai’s Moganshan Road Contemporary Arts District and the Power Station of Art
